Chelan Rotary is committed to supporting Rotaplast International; an organization dedicated to eliminating the incidence of untreated cleft lips and palates in children worldwide by the year 2025. Rotaplast provides free reconstructive surgery and treatment for underprivileged children, helps to educate local physicians and specialists to broaden their skills in treating cleft anomalies, and works to advance research in the prevention of cleft lip and palate. They also council families about ways of preventing cleft palate anomalies through diet, vitamin supplementation, and life style changes...

ShelterBox is a worldwide Rotary Club project set up to respond instantly to disasters all around the world delivering aid as quickly as possible to the people who need it most. ShelterBox recently responded within hours to help the tens of thousands of those left homeless as a result of the devastating earthquake on the Caribbean island of Haiti. Within 2 days, ShelterBox had dispatched 700 ShelterBoxes with even more to be packed and dispatched within one week of the disaster in order make sure immediate aid reaches Haiti. This is yet another example of how you support helps Rotary International to help others less fortunate.
